What do you mean, please, "scientific theory of creation"? There is no such thing.

Good point. In that case everywhere is the center of the universe. Yes?

@CurrentName I can't give you an answer. I'm incompetent. General relativity is too f*cking hard for a simple girl like me. 😐

@helenS I somehow don't think that's true, but we'll go with it. Thank you for responding. 😊

I think there’s Christian Science marylin Monroe was a Christian Science thingy

When you examine the order of things, when you the individual events _ scientific and creation accounts of Genesis go hand in hand with one exception man.
God did not tell the Earth to bring forth man as he did all other life forms _ he formed man himself - he breathed the breadth of life into man himself - and man may not have been created on Earth but of the dust/elements of the earth, scripture tells us God PLACED man in the garden which he had prepared

Easy,, The scientific theory does not explain creation..
The scientific theory is only about ""Adaptation""" The theory that animals change as the environment changes to adapt to better deal with that change or Adapt to better exploit the existing environment..
Scientists have never been able to show how even a single celled life form came into existence.. They have never been able to take sterile matter and subject it to different heats and pressures and radio wavelengths or radiation and demonstrate new life being created from sterile matter..
But they have been able to brainwash people who do not question scientists, who do not try and think for themselves into actually asking How did life first come into existence from sterile matter..

@Adstar All cleared up for you now? What you refer to as fact is the demonstrable evidence that is completely, consistently, and coherently, explained by the Theory.
This confuses religion because religions offer no evidence

@Adstar I'm not sure you understand how science works my friend.

When I was a Christian, I used to believe that God not only made the big bang, but he/she was also the big bang itself. God was creation. Everything after evolved from the laws created by God.

What is the scientific theory of "creation"
IsawDDevil · 36-40, M
@CurrentName the big bang happen and universe started expanding.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@IsawDDevil Where's 'creation' in that, and why do you call it a scientific theory?
are you aware of what a scientific theory is?
It's not a guess or a convenient fiction.

Easily.
My first degree was in Theoretical Physics, including a lot of Quantum Theory and General Relativity I’m used to thinking in different paradigms.

Because science says creation happened randomly by chance but everything about our world shows intelligent design and order.

Not in the least.
Science currently offers no accepted theories on the origin of the universe.
However, universal inflation 13.8 billion years ago is well established, as are the suubsequent effects of spacete and gravity.
Nothing random about any of it.

@PatientlyWaiting25 I skipped through that video and now I'm confused - are you talking about the origin of the universe or abiogenesis or evolution?
They're three different topics.

Easy,
God, or whatever you want to call it, used science as a tool.

@newjaninev2 That's true. The term scientific theory of creation is nonsensical. I get that. But I knew what the person meant so I saw no need to bust them out like that.
I didn't say it was your question. I was answering to your question to me.

God said, "Let there be light!" and there was light.
Seems simple enough. Doesn't specify a mechanism, just a statement of obvious fact.
