I think there’s Christian Science marylin Monroe was a Christian Science thingy
Adstar · 56-60, M
Easy,, The scientific theory does not explain creation..

The scientific theory is only about ""Adaptation""" The theory that animals change as the environment changes to adapt to better deal with that change or Adapt to better exploit the existing environment..

Scientists have never been able to show how even a single celled life form came into existence.. They have never been able to take sterile matter and subject it to different heats and pressures and radio wavelengths or radiation and demonstrate new life being created from sterile matter..

But they have been able to brainwash people who do not question scientists, who do not try and think for themselves into actually asking How did life first come into existence from sterile matter..
Adstar · 56-60, M
@IsawDDevil Oh yeah i know about the big bang and how a thing called the Singularity that existed forever suddenly exploded into all the matter that exists in the universe....

But the scientists do not say how the Singularity came into existence..

And they do not say why this singularity that had existed forever as a Singularity exploded..

And come to think of it, If a Singularity had existed forever as a Singularity why would it explode.. If it existed forever as a Singularity it would have evisted forever more as a Singularity or there must have been something outside the Singularity that caused the Singularity to go bang.. Now if there was something outside the singularity that caused the Singularity to go bang then the Singularity existed with something else for ever and ever before the Big Bang.. So many questions.. If you're a person that actually starts to think about the stuff teachers regergitate to you in class that they got from their time at univercity that they never even thought to think about when they where gettting indoctrinated at the univercity with...... hummm

Oh in Genisis God said Let there be Light first.. So the first thing was Light before the stars where formed..
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Adstar Let's work through it slowly.

You use the terms 'before' and 'forever', but spacetime came into existence only with the Big Bang, so it's incoherent to speak of 'before' in relation to the Big Bang.
Waveney · M
@Adstar a lie is not the same as being unable to prove something. A lie would be scientists saying the Big Bang abd Evolution is correct while KNOWING it’s false.

It’s religion that brainwashes “well we can’t explain it so God created everything. Accept it and move on.”

What is the scientific theory of "creation"
IsawDDevil · 36-40, M
@CurrentName the big bang happen and universe started expanding.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@IsawDDevil Where's 'creation' in that, and why do you call it a scientific theory?

are you aware of what a scientific theory is?
It's not a guess or a convenient fiction.
peterlee · M
Easily.

My first degree was in Theoretical Physics, including a lot of Quantum Theory and General Relativity I’m used to thinking in different paradigms.
helenS · 36-40, F
What do you mean, please, "scientific theory of creation"? There is no such thing.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@IsawDDevil The genesis fable came from a few Middle Eastern goat herders who didn't know where the Sun went at night, so they had no concept of the universe and in any event thought that everything had to have some sort of 'creator' or 'designer'.
helenS · 36-40, F
@newjaninev2 Isn't it all-too-human to see oneself as the focal point of the universe?
In a sense, the standard model of the universe is a big disappointment, because the universe is huge and we are totally irrelevant.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@helenS exactly! The news is all bad for human vanity and self-adoration.

Our planet, our Solar System and our galaxy are beyond insignificant.
PatientlyWaiting25 · 46-50, F
Because science says creation happened randomly by chance but everything about our world shows intelligent design and order.

@PatientlyWaiting25
science says creation happened randomly by chance

Not in the least.
Science currently offers no accepted theories on the origin of the universe.
However, universal inflation 13.8 billion years ago is well established, as are the suubsequent effects of spacete and gravity.
Nothing random about any of it.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@PatientlyWaiting25 I skipped through that video and now I'm confused - are you talking about the origin of the universe or abiogenesis or evolution?
They're three different topics.
GerOttman · 70-79, M
God said, "Let there be light!" and there was light.

Seems simple enough. Doesn't specify a mechanism, just a statement of obvious fact.
