You know what I was taught in hebrew school? Not to take the stories too literally. But also take all the laws completely literally. It does not compute, it never will, that’s why people have faith. (I don’t)

Adam and Eve had 3 sons, Cain, who killed Able, (his brother), and Eve had another son called Seth to replace Able. There was other people on the earth at the time, but the main focus of Genesis is on Adam, Eve, and creation. Not too many references talk about the other humans until AFTER the flood mentioned later on in the bible. When Noah builds the ark, he has 3 sons too, Shem, Hem, and Jeppath. They all 3 have their wives and noah has his wife and those 8 people board the Ark with animals. Its true and once you understand that the bible is NOT WRITTEN IN CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER, you find out the devil, was once named Lucifer in the book of Isaiah and was kicked to earth before Eve gets tempted by him. Then in other older testament books, wich many bibles had removed, theres also talks of Giants, (book of Enoch calls them the Nephilem). Book of Joshua talks about Giants too! Some other old testament facts written down, there was only one language BEFORE the tower of bable , theres unicorns, dinosaurs, and dragons mentioned in some bible texts too..fascinating stuff if you really want explanation 😀

@Ferise1 That's the usual view but I think you should read and interpret the Bible for yourself, and pray for truth to be revealed rather than blindly follow what most church pastors tell you you should believe.
There is scope for other interpretations. What I believe is that 1 and 2 Genesis are not Chronological and can be read as two completely different times periods and that would allow the possibility for other humans to have been created. Also, the Hebrew for Adam also means "mankind" as a collective as well as a personal name. If you accept the traditional organized religion view, then in Genesis 4, when Cain was exiled after killing Abel, who was he scared of being attacked by if there were no other pre-existing humans at that time?

@Ferise1 where am I grasping at straws? I'm just answering a question as I see it. I think its desperately narrow minded to automatically mistrust what the Bible says because so far, organized religion hasn't helped you and you can't be bothered to read the Bible yourself with an open mind and an attitude that you might meet with God if you pray about it.
