When Jesus returns to earth He will first appear in the Sky.. The people of the earth who will have survived up till that day will then realize who God actually is.. They will be in mourn because they will have rejected The LORD Jesus and will be lamenting with deep regret their terrible decision..

@Adstar This was written when the world view was that the Earth was a disc and flat.
I suspect you view the world governed by Newtonian Physics. Most do.
But the paradigm of Quantum Physics is beyond us.

This poem expresses the eternal truth. That Jesus returns as King to judge both the living and the dead.

@SW-User The Bible only declares the world to be round in shape.. It does not say it is a flat disc.. A globe is round in shape..

It means that Jesus, the son of man and God is the Messiah and he will be back to gather his own.

Hmmm
In the book of Mathew, two times Jesus states that when demanded for a sign that he is who he claimed to be, that he would give them no sign but the sign of Jonah. This is his being buried for 3 and 1/2 days. The sign that appears, in tis verse, Is Jesus returning, this is showing the world that he is who he states that he is.

Unbelievers will at first be thinking this is an alien invasion because they don't know him - they believe in the fiction Syfy of extraterrestrial life and flying crafts _ but because Satan knows that the end is near he has deceived the mind of the unbeliever as written in Scripture. And when they realize that judgment is upon the Earth that he actually exist, events written in the Bible are true. Some will realize even the signs were given in the Bible and were ignored. Such as.........

Ezekiel's Wheels speaks of the flying wheels, which today are called disc or crafts that each contained one of the four cherubims. The Bible speaks of the chariots of God that fills the sky / clouds. Enoch and Elijah was taken up - today that would be called alien abduction.
