@Harriet03
You really don’t belong in a conversation involving scripture. You are out of your depth.
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
@Pfuzylogic You're out of reality hun!
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Pfuzylogic Throwing out a line from a book devoid of context or meaning is hardly a discussion about scripture. Don't make me laugh.
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
@Graylight The "Goat Herders Guide to the Galaxy" is hardly a reliable source!! 🤷‍♀️
Pfuzylogic · M
@Graylight This is from the Holy Bible.
The scripture requires knowledge.
If you don’t have Faith why are you here besides making fun of other beliefs.
I don’t go to LGBTQ posts and make fun of their beliefs. Respect needs to be shown to a true Faith without crassness.
@Pfuzylogic The only reason Mountainlady16 is catching grief on this post is because minutes before she was using the same scriptural references to bash a lesbian woman in a different post,

And no. Faith is not immune to criticism and analysis because one says ones confession is the only legitimate one.

@CopperCicada
I am presenting scripture to this Post and will defend it in a legitimate apologetic manner. The New Teatament does not apply to this Post. This is Opd Teatament scripture. Argue the other Post if that is where your argument lies.
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
@Pfuzylogic LGBTQ is fact, faith is not required. Faith is only necessary when there is no proof!! 🤷‍♀️
Pfuzylogic · M
@Harriet03
LGBTQ is a belief and a choice.
Don’t get it confused with a legitimate Faith.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Pfuzylogic Belief is not required and no, it's not a choice.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Graylight That is your opinion on it that sexual behavior is not chosen. Scientists recently tested that and couldn’t prove it. Legally all behavior is a choice and a perpetrator is held personally accountable. .
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
@Pfuzylogic Sexuality is NOT a choice. You are entitled to a alternative opinion but alternative FACTS you are Not!!
@Pfuzylogic One's sexuality is not a choice.

Reason 1. Look at animals. There are hundreds of animals that exhibit homosexual behavior. They aren't doing so because they are caving to a "gay agenda".

Reason 2. The historical record shows homosexuality over like five or sex millenia of human history. There was no "gay agenda" in antiquity.

Reason 3. Common sense. Who would elect a sexuality that will get them alienated from their family, fired from their job, even killed?

Reason 4. Do you know any LBGT people? Talk to them.
Pfuzylogic · M
@CopperCicada
I went up through my own choosing experience.
Animals are no scientific proof of anything. They eat their young which humans don’t do for a simple example.

Again they recently tried to prove scientifically it wasn’t a choice but genetic and failed. This agenda of belief started when LGBTQ started in the 90s. Before that it was assigned to a form of latency.
It is all a story that isn’t based on reason or fact.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Pfuzylogic Nobody recently "tried to prove" anything. There's a robust and well-vetted body of research on gender, orientation and homosexuality. Nobody proved there was a "gene" for it because that's not how science and physiology work.

Tell you what...choose to be gay for a month. See how it fits you.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Graylight
I entertained you even though this is a religious Post. Pose your question sometime with respect to even a heterosexual. I opened up personally here and yet you are still not satisfied.
There was a scientific research that concluded a few months ago and it must have passed by your attention. Even though it said there was no genetic proof for gay orientation. The LGBTQ community refused to acknowledge it and persist in this belief. Every group has their belief. Just don’t pose it as anything more.
Graylight · 51-55, F
@Pfuzylogic Go ahead and cite that study so we can all benefit from this knowledge.
Pfuzylogic · M
@Graylight
No need it just came out two months ago.
You can find it if you are motivated.
@Pfuzylogic I presume you're talking about the paper in Nature? Andrea Ganna et al.? If you read her paper, she doesn't say same-sex sexual behavior doesn't have a genetic component. Quite the contrary. She says:
Same-sex sexual behavior is influenced by not one or a few genes but many.
She also speaks of the interaction between genes and environmental factors. But that is not the same as the "choice" of sexuality you speak of. It's the expression of a genotype as a phenotype through the person interacting with a spectrum of influences. That is not "choice*.

@CopperCicada
I remember the LGBQT leaders on the news and being very emotionally upset that the study didn’t follow their indoctrination and then stating the science didn’t matter.
@Pfuzylogic I don't know what LGBQT leaders say. I know what that paper says, and it doesn't say what you say it does.
Pfuzylogic · M
@CopperCicada
It said same sex sexual affection was not genetically based period.
@Pfuzylogic No it doesn't. I have the Nature article pulled up in front of me.

It says there is no ONE gay gene. But that sexuality is expressed through MANY GENES interacting with the environment to create a sexual orientation and identity.

Which is not unusual. For one trait to be moderated by multiple genes.
@Pfuzylogic It certainly doesn't say sexuality is a choice.
Pfuzylogic · M
@CopperCicada
It didn’t walk lock step into the indoctrination of LGBQT
