The following verse helped me when I could just barely walk, to walk again. With each step I said this verse and also said, by His stripes I am healed:

I get yelled at by bible thumpers for this.
But have you ever sat down and read the book of Ecclesiastes?
It cheers me up, because it validates my feelings and helps me through them.
The book starts out:
2 “Everything is meaningless,” says the Teacher, “completely meaningless!”
3 What do people get for all their hard work under the sun? 4 Generations come and generations go, but the earth never changes. 5 The sun rises and the sun sets, then hurries around to rise again. 6 The wind blows south, and then turns north. Around and around it goes, blowing in circles. 7 Rivers run into the sea, but the sea is never full. Then the water returns again to the rivers and flows out again to the sea. 8 Everything is wearisome beyond description. No matter how much we see, we are never satisfied. No matter how much we hear, we are not content.
But the book carries you through. It's a comfort for, well, me at least.

@nonsensiclesnail That sounds like some good writing. I was going to say "Let each day's worries be sufficient on to its own"

Psalm 42:
2
As the deer longs for streams of water,
so my soul longs for you, O God.
3
My soul thirsts for God, the living God.
When can I enter and see the face of God?*
4
My tears have been my bread day and night,
as they ask me every day, “Where is your God?”
5
Those times I recall
as I pour out my soul,
When I would cross over to the shrine of the Mighty One,
to the house of God,
Amid loud cries of thanksgiving,
with the multitude keeping festival.
6
Why are you downcast, my soul;
why do you groan within me?
Wait for God, for I shall again praise him,
my savior and my God.
II
7
My soul is downcast within me;
therefore I remember you
From the land of the Jordan and Hermon,
from Mount Mizar,
8
Deep calls to deep
in the roar of your torrents,
and all your waves and breakers
sweep over me.
9
By day may the LORD send his mercy,
and by night may his righteousness be with me!
I will pray to the God of my life,
10
I will say to God, my rock:
“Why do you forget me?i
Why must I go about mourning
with the enemy oppressing me?”
11
It shatters my bones, when my adversaries reproach me,
when they say to me every day: “Where is your God?”
12
Why are you downcast, my soul,
why do you groan within me?
Wait for God, for I shall again praise him,
my savior and my God.

I don't.
I think of all the good people who persisted stoicly, without a guide.
The people who first carried a fire, and willed it into their home through repeated, gruelling determination.
The people who first envisioned love, consideration, poetry.
I think to times before words existed, and imagine the root of all present-day satisfaction.
I also think....
Hope springs eternal from the human breast,
Man never is, but always to be blessed
That was my first real favorite truth.

James 1 : 2 - 4
2) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4) But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
Hope you managed and came out stronger.

@graphite There are so many and I was struggling but agreed, this one!
DrWatson · 70-79, M
It depends on what kind of struggles I am dealing with, but one passage that means a lot to me is 2 Corinthians 7-9.
Paul writes about being given a thorn in the flesh, and how he begged God three times to have it removed, but God answered " My grace is enough for you, for in weakness power reaches perfection."
This tells me that Paul himself had his struggles. Whatever they were, it sounds as if they were never fully resolved. And yet look at how his life glorified God.

8 I asked the Lord three times about this, that it would depart from me. 9 But[j] he said to me, “My grace is enough[k] for you, for my[l] power is made perfect[m] in weakness.” So then, I will boast most gladly[n] about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may reside in[o] me. 10 Therefore I am content with[p] weaknesses, with insults, with troubles, with persecutions and difficulties[q] for the sake of Christ, for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.

Psalm 91
91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in Him will I trust.”
3 Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler and from the noisome pestilence.
4 He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust; His truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5 Thou shalt not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flieth by day,
6 nor of the pestilence that walketh in darkness, nor of the destruction that layeth waste at noonday.
7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come nigh thee.
8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because thou hast made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, thy habitation,
10 there shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11 For He shall give His angels charge over thee to keep thee in all thy ways.
12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample underfoot.
14 “Because he hath set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he hath known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life will I satisfy him, and show him My salvation.”
