@TheRealBarbossa lots of those things are because of humans deciding to do bad things because he gave us free will, God gave us free will so that we can choose to love and free will is necessary because otherwise it wouldn't be real love if we were all programmed to mindlessly do it. Also consider how much we learn when we experience situations like a pandemic. If nobody ever suffered, nobody would learn skills like compassion. We saw community collectively coming together to make life better for the vulnerable and the isolated. We don't see situations through God's eyes. It would make a whole lot more sense if we did I think.
