The love of God

The love of God is beyond the highest star and reached the lowest hell. I've been through hell and I thought there's no God in places like this. But God found a way to let me know that he was there and he understood my fear ,my pain and my frustrations . I was overwhelmed by this revelation and since then there was no turning back in me . My hope rekindled to lit the dim dark place .

The words of St Isaac the Syrian, 7th century, a beloved figure of the Eastern Orthodox Church, a Universalist:-

In love did He bring the world into existence; in love does He guide it during this its temporal existence; in love is He going to bring it to that wondrous transformed state, and in love will the world be swallowed up in the great mystery of Him who has performed all things; in love will the whole course of the governance of creation be finally comprised.

@CorvusBlackthorne Excellent points.

In the Bible, the God character commands people to murder usually over insignificant things that only nitwits would get upset over. So, if someone murders maybe he is doing it because God commanded him to murder. Hey, it's in the Bible so people shouldn't say that he didn't.

@CorvusBlackthorne You have a lot to learn from God!
@Carazaa No, thank you. I know perfectly well how to commit genocide.
Tell me, who created hell?
@teachmetiger210503 No, I find your point to be lacking in logic.

@CorvusBlackthorne enlighten me
@teachmetiger210503 I rather doubt anyone could enlighten you, but I will give it my best effort.

The being you say is made of pure love created a place of eternal torment. It matters not for whom he intended this place, as all life (according to you) was created by said being. He created Satan, or rather the archangel Samael, and now, rather than admit that his creation was imperfect, he intends casting him into a place where he will be tormented for a literal eternity for being the way he was made. The same punishment awaits the angels (also his creations) who followed Satan (even though God knew they would do so), and any humans who cannot live up to his standards (even though God knows which humans will fail).
Amen!! Same happened to me. At my very lowest, he was there and rescued me. He's never disappointed me. I'm so happy for you and this wonderful testimony. I praise God for you

I have experienced his reckless love. Once you have truly let him in there is really no turning back. I just want to know him more and more.
@tmmaier Are you sure you meant to write reckless love? Reckless means without thinking or caring about the consequences of an action. That hardly describes Christ.
@DalisMoustache
I really think that it is the picture/image of God in anyone's mind that draws forth the scepticism. Given the picture presented and advocated by some believers, such scepticism is not misplaced.
What picture/image would that be? And how do you know those who may depict a bad picture of Christ are really believers? They could be false teachers. I've never of committed believers in Christ deliberately painting a bad picture of him.
@tmmaier I agree with most of what you said, except the reference of "pearls before swine" could be taken negatively for those who don't understand that phrase and in what context it is in. Therefore it will not reflect love, in that respect. I feel it was inappropriately used. You and I understand it, but many will not and we all know that Christ loves all. I just think a better reference could have been used.
Odin be praised.

@teachmetiger210503 Jesus said that he had been sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. So, how are you going to get into that exclusive herd?
teachmetiger210503 · 36-40, M
@Diotrephes It begins with Israel yes but reaches to the end of the world.

That is not in Mtthew, Mark, Luke, John, or Revelation
