Do all babies automatically go to heaven if they die? Or are they doomed to hell since they never accepted Jesus?

If it's the former, would the most loving, selfless act one could perform be to kill as many babies as possible before they have a chance to sin and thereby ensure the security of their immortal soul?

I realize this question probably comes off as a troll comment but i'm genuinely curious to hear what believers think of this dilemma.
It's obviously a repugnant act to consider to any right thinking person...but does it actually makes sense with the above context?

I was brought up as Catholic. At Sunday school one day, the teacher told us about "limbo", a place where the unbaptized babies go. But they didn’t get to go to heaven. Probably the first kernel of doubt that I remember.
@BlueSkyKing

Well no worries, i think they got rid of that in the early 2000's 😅

it's like piling ignorance on top of ignorance

@Penny well if no one really knows then i don't think religion so be so hammered into our lives by, in particular, the government

@Frostcloud Well, think about trying to run a government. How can you keep order if there are no rules to separate good conduct from bad conduct. Its like maybe the governments not totally Christian but if you read like the ten commandments certain things do make sense. So its like take what you read and apply your own reason or belief in agreement or not in agreement to it and roll with it. Christianity doesnt seem that hammered into the government to me besides like thou shalt not murder people or steal but that just makes sense. As far as bibles in courts... I think of it as more symbolic than anything else.
