why is christianity dwindling in the uk

i am a christian and a roman catholic, and i saw a report a while back that said christianity in the uk is dwindling fast...i thought this was grave news and quite sad as this is a traditionally white christian country.
Religion is an irrelevance for people these days. To quote the saying: "you can be good without god". It just means doing the right thing by people just because it is the right thing to do, not because of a religious indoctrination.
Before that it was a white pagan country. Then you lot turned up and changed that.

It’s your turn now.

Whatever has a beginning has an ending.
Its great to see Christianity is on the decline.

@Entwistle The sooner it dies out completely, the better it will be for everyone.

I don't know much about the Catholic church, the traditional c of e and Methodist churches are struggling because so many abandoned preaching biblical truths and became liberal so God could not bless them, but in the last few years many new evangelical and Pentecostal churches have opened up. The church I attended is growing all the time! If you Google churches in your town you will probably find a few you didn't know about

One wonders what saddens you the most about losing your
traditionally white christian country

Fewer gullible people.
Because it's a Western country. It's places like Asia and Africa that bear Christianity now
