I don't understand Christianity

- The bible is 2000 years old and has been rewritten and re-interpreted multiple times but people still take it so literally
- Jesus was around just over 2000 years ago, so did everyone before then who didn't know about this religion go straight to hell?
- What about people who don't accept jesus into their lives because they havn't heard much about Christianity or grew up in a different religion? Do they deserve an eternity in hell?
- If you are Christian, why? And are you open to other truths? Or do you believe the bible is the only truth?

All religions are superstitious nonsense. Expecting Christianity or any faith to make sense is a waste of time.

@redredred we all have different beliefs that's the way life is. It's the same as someone might be attracted to someone with blonde hair and another with Brown hair. It's just something you need to accept. We will never all agree.

@redredred I’m Native American I practice the spirituality and culture of my ancestors are you against that too and thinks it’s crazy?
Peaceandnamaste · 26-30, F
@redredred I consider myself spiritual not religious and see God as formless energy that is not created or destroyed not some person or being in the sky.
RubiesandButterflies · 51-55, F
@Peaceandnamaste I'm not personally against any religion neither do I think it's crazy. I think we all find meaning and comfort in our own beliefs. What is right for one person may not be for another. If that's what makes you feel happy and complete its not for me to judge.

@redredred I hope you’re not criticizing Native American spirituality they’re connected to Nature and it’s not bs.
Peaceandnamaste · 26-30, F

@redredred Natives lived in harmony with nature and the Universe before the European Christians came and took their land.

@Peaceandnamaste before white men brought them horses, natives used to stampede countless bison over cliffs to their deaths. Then the natives would take the best bits of meat and a few hides leaving the rest to rot after the injured died in agony. Tribes regularly fought wars with each other, tortured some of the captives and took others as slaves

By the way, Europeans didn’t steal a square inch of native land. Europeans acquired the land legally via the real estate transfer protocol the natives used; conquest.

@redredred Wow you're an ignorant redneck bigot. Wow wow!!!! Decolonize your mind please

[media=https://youtu.be/rBjq5pcsdw8?t=277]

Wow you're so hateful and closed-minded about other cultures.

No wonder you white men destroy the earth without emotions and feelings, you white people hate nature admit it please, that's why you call people who worship nature stupid because you cousin screwing hicks hate nature.

Climate change is getting worse and sea levels
are rising higher and higher because most backwards Christian bigots are selfish and don't care about the land they live in.

You hate the Earth, no wonder climate change and natural disasters are getting worse.

You redneck bigots deny the science of climage change and hate the idea of revering the land and taking care of it because you bigots hate the land you walk on.

So how dare you cousin screwing redneck bigots call my culture and spirituality dumb because I revere the land I'm connected to. I see the Earth as my mother and the Sun as my father, the Earth nourishes me and the Sun warms me, I Revere the cosmos and I revere Mother Earth because we are all from it and will return to that, this is way different from Christianity that views humans as superior to nature and the center of the Universe.

You bigots don't see the Earth as sacred and alive you see the Earth as a tool to be exploited and used for profit.

I bet you're a Trump supporter and a climate change denier.

We need to care of the earth for our future generations, we should be stewardships of this planet not destroyers of this beautiful unique home.

We are all connected and we are all one family.

Of course you backwards redneck bigots won't understand, you rednecks hate nature and you bigots see nature as primitive and dead.

The Universe is definitely alive whether you like or not, the most racist people on Earth are mostly Christian fundamentalists and materialists because they value looks and money more than spiritual matters. These same people don't care about the Amazon rainforest which are the lungs of the Earth.

Skin color and race doesn't matter only our souls matter, we are all energy and connected to the Cosmos.

Science and spirituality is more connected than ever, quantum physics has proven that reality is not even physical at all.

The day science begins to study non-physical phenomena, it will make more progress in one decade than in all the previous centuries of its existence.
Nikola Tesla

Materialism is outdated, reality is mostly strings of energy, frequencies and vibrations. And Materialism cannot solve the hard of problem of consciousness or explain how a glob of fat in the head creates such experiences like thinking, breathing, emotions and art. Materialism can't explain how blind and deaf people are leaving their bodies having NDEs and seeing and hearing every conversation inside and out of the hospital if the nerves in their ears or eyes are permanently damaged, or how children were accurately describing the details of their past lives about how they lived and died and what clothes they were wearing and their parents that were confirmed to be true by a psychologist and a historian. Nor does Materialism explain the reason for child prodigies, strange phobias and a strange connection and affinity to other cultures.

Even though it's not surprising that energy cannot be created or destroyed only transformed from one form to another.

So using Materialist imperialism to destroy other cultures is just as bad as Christian Imperialism.

Christian bigots are just as bad as Materialist bigots that don't think outside the box or open their mind to other ideas or philosophies. These unthinking bigots have an IQ of arctic temperature. They're cold and don't have emotions and only think in a narrow box, spirituality and quantum physics are getting closer to each other, they both view energy/consciousness as a fundamental part of the Universe.

Philosophically I'm an monist Dualist, nonphysical aspects of reality and the physical aspects of reality are basically two sides of the same coin.

Max Planck-"I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness."

The father of physics wasn't a strict materialist and he view consciousness as a fundamental part of reality and that matter is derivative from it.
