On my desk:

I keep a framed movie still of The Tin Man.

Perhaps the most profound lesson in The Wizard of Oz is that the Tin Man searched for a heart he never truly lacked.

He believed he needed something outside himself to know love, never realizing it had been beating within him all along.

Sometimes, the things we spend a lifetime searching for are the very things life has yet to teach us to recognize within ourselves.

No oil can needed.

Profound! In my case, I thought that LOVE was something I could only receive from OTHERS. Instead, I found that I have become a wellspring, and God within me provides ALL the love that I need personally, AND it overflows, so that I can give it to others!!!!
