Ozzy. that was upsetting.
The whole thing of him pouring everything into that final appearance, which was great, and then his death shortly afterwards...
I'd met him once. I was starstruck, he was as wrecked as anyone could be and still standing. We chatted a little.
It's something, or some time I should say, that I'll always remember.

@SammyJo I know. And everybody was playing "Mama, I'm Coming Home". It was so sad. But he went out on his own terms. He stopped his pain meds and did one last concert. Went out like a legend.

My wife was when George Michael passed. Having been a lifelong family, also knowing a relative of his,and going to his father's restaurant, and gone to his concerts over the years ,his passing at Xmas was something that kept her quiet for that day

Ozzy Osborne. I cried a lot when the news hit about him. Also, one of my best friends just lost his dad around the same time that Ozzy died. Was a terrible week for me, let alone past month.

@Katie01 lol not what I meant. I meant when that had happened. I guess for any that hadn't died yet, I'd have to say Dave Grohl, Anthony Kiedis, Dave Mustaine, and also the comedian Steve Byrne. Steve Byrne I'd probably be the most sad about because I actually got to meet him a couple years ago and we kinda became buds. He's hilarious and a very kind human being.

Robin Williams.. idk I’m just really convinced that he was really sweet guy and that he’d be so much fun to hang out with and talk too
@WhiteSapphire robin williams & Billy Connolly were really good friends, imagine the fun hanging with them 2 😀

One that has just passed... A very humble caring man but a world known celebrity... Judge Frank Caprio
I’m still mourning the loss of Bernie Mac.
But yes Ozzy, David Bowie and Murray Walker.

I don't want to jinx anyone. I'm still sad over Allan Rickman's passing.

Not into celebrities. When I hear of one dying my question is often. I wonder what he did when he wasn't at home.
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Not really interested in the idea of celebrity.
It's always sad to learn of those you respect or admire passing.
I think what's really shocking is the high number of those who seem to hasten their own demise either because their fame oxygen dried up or because they do stupid things because they need the adrenaline rush just to feel alive. - of which there are many.

Treat Williams.
James Cann.
Tina Turner.
Bob Newhart.
These were hard to read.
But my old movie favorites like Al Pacino, Clint Eastwood, Tom Selleck and Kevin Costner would be even harder

Not "especially" sad no.
Not even "normal" sad I don't think.
Marginally sad at best.
