The Royal Tenenbaums, The Birdcage, Heist are favorites of mine. He wasn't your avg Hollywood A-lister... he was so much more talented than that. I hope future generations will discover his works
@seaglass he really was amazing

It's been over a month now and the details of their deaths have become sadder and sadder 😢
However, he did have a "life well-lived" until the very end.

Oh no!!! This has been a really awful week for Hollywood. On Monday, we lost Roberta Flack and Robert John (Sad Eyes). On Tuesday one of the Isley Brothers died. Yesterday it was Michelle Tratenberg and today Gene Hackman and his wife. 😞🥀
@Barefooter25 that's a lot in a week😢

HAD to be carbon monoxide poisoning. His wife AND dog all died at the same time.
@4meAndyou yes, it's really sad😞

@AbsolutelyFabulous They are saying now, that it was NOT carbon monoxide poisoning. Gene Hackman fell suddenly and died in the Mudroom, and his body actually mummified. That leads to the assumption that he might have died before his wife died. She was not mummified. And there is no explanation for how or why the dog was shut into a closet in the bathroom and the wife fell suddenly nearby with a bottle of pills in her hand.
@4meAndyou omg, that's all very odd
