I was sick a lot as a grade school kid so I watched TV during the weekdays - a young woman caught my eye ( I later found out she was in her mid to late teens while playing a teacher in this Little Rascals short) by the name of Mary Kornman who, earlier in her movie career, was a tyke herself in the Our Gang comedies.

James Dean. Was obsessed with him. But I admired him more than anything else. Aside from him it was Ducky from Pretty in Pink and Johnny from Dirty Dancing.
