What TV/Movie/Music star is extraordinarily overrated ?

In the modern era ?
Most of them.
That's the Problem the older you get the more you've seen this stuff before.
Back then it was exciting and new whereas today it seems hackneyed and overdone.
Can you compare those of the past to those of the present day ?

I suppose one interesting case is that of James Bond.
A dozen different actors and varying degrees of script and direction quality.
But then again, somebody thought the best way to extend that series was to kill off two of the best characters in their iconic roles namely Judi Dench and Daniel Craig.

All of them. They are paid ridiculous amounts of money, have award shows all the time to pat themselves on the back, and people worship them like gods.
