How do the Saints intercede for us if we are asleeep when dead until Jesus' Resurrection.
When we die scripture tells us we are asleep until the second coming I thought.

It seems that for the most part, humans are asleep until the second coming. There are a couple exceptions like Elijah who is already in heaven and we see the spirit of Samuel being summoned by the Witch of Endor.
But by and large, yeah. It's doesn't really make sense that the saints can intercede.

I suppose there is no record of The Virgin Mary going to Heaven in scripture either although there have been several apparitions and the Christian world has arguably developed more so from her intersession.

@Paul1 if you dont go up after the physical death you will stand on judgement day and all of them will burn.. there is no mercy that day.. should had listened..
