No better sound in the world...

When you really, really, really need a ride, there is no better sound in the world than the thump - thump - thump of Marine aviation coming in low and fast over the next hill.

Even if I go bankrupt, no Marine will ever pay for a drink in my company.

i can understand that. I once met a holocaust survivor whose favorite sight was an american GI sticking his head out of his tank when encountering the prisoners of war--the war was over! The survivor never forgot how beautiful that GI Joe was. And how thankful he was for America.
