No better sound in the world...

When you really, really, really need a ride, there is no better sound in the world than the thump - thump - thump of Marine aviation coming in low and fast over the next hill.

Even if I go bankrupt, no Marine will ever pay for a drink in my company.

@vetguy1991 One popped up high and took station circling overhead. The other came right at us, turned around, and dropped the ramp. Once we were aboard, the ramp closed and we were out. I don't think his nose wheel ever touched the ground.
