Afghanistan - well done our lads

Well done our paratroopers now coming home from Afghanistan who were put in the unenviable position of evacuation thousands due to Biden’s bungling. One cannot believe that the Americans have left behind millions of dollars worth of equipment including 200 planes to people who are known terrorists. Worse still, there are databases of at least 7000 people who have worked with the Americans which the Taliban are now going round treating as traitors and executing. So well done Mr President. Mass genocide on your watch!
It’s a living nightmare and I can’t wake up.

For some reason the democrats think that they can just change the subject . This is too immense to just forget.
We cannot forget ,I just hope the world realizes that the brave Americans are going over and bringing people home. We need to reign in our corrupted politicians.
We need new leadership. And we need to eradicate this woke , leftist bs for good
PatKirby · M
@Driver2

The DemonRats who've fallen asleep at the wheel are trying their utmost best to change the subject to something else, anything else. But this abominable and epic bungling that is a full order of magnitude above all other political failures in our lifetimes cannot be cast aside so easily due to its depth of depravity and misconduct.

People have and continue to lose their lives on account of Jerkoff Joe's astronomical-level bungling in his poor ability to execute proper decisions. Yes he must be removed from the office his thieving party absconded for him and at this point his rookie viceroy Koala would actually be a cognitive step up.

Too bad there is no Department for the Disposal of Corrupt Politicians. But if there was, Backpedaling Biden would easily meet the incompetency threshold. Is it possible for someone to mocked out of office? Because this mental micro decisively puts the mock in democracy. These well-earned nuggets of wisdom from the youth say it all...

Even if the US had left behind 200 functional planes in Afghanistan (which is false, the vast majority were either evacuated or destroyed), it's not like the Taliban would be able to use them effectively for very long, or at a very long range. That said, it sucks a lot how many of the Afghans who worked with us are gonna get wrecked now, but given how fast the Afghan gov't fell, it's hard to imagine a way to effectively get them all out of there.
Grvstu · 70-79, F
Don’t you seem to realise that people like the Chinese and Russians are going to get in on the act and the planes might be made functional by these sort of people@BlueVeins
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Grvstu The Chinese & Russians have plenty of planes of their own, no reason to mooch off of us. Even if they did, they'd probably only be able to maintain the aircraft that they, themselves built.
Grvstu · 70-79, F
You live in a world of illusion. @BlueVeins
Fluffybull · F
I was shocked when I heard about all the equipment left behind 😱😥
Eddiesolds · 61-69, M
This is so sad. It makes me sick what Biden has done.He is a murderer.
They're not all out. And yes, 80 billion dollars worth of the best weaponry you could have.
Grvstu · 70-79, F
Whether they will be able to use it or remains to be seen. But it is the mark of the incompetence of the administration of this has been left behind at all@LadyGrace
@Grvstu Absolutely
You do know the end of hostilities was not negotiated by Biden....right? Trump made the agreement for how to leave and when to leave last May....with terrorists.....not the Afghani government. In negotiating with the terrorist Taliban, Rump completely cut the U.N. and the Afghani security forces from being a part of the deal to protect us when we left. So the same attacks would have taken place last May...or in August.

Also Biden has zero to do with any equipment being left behind. It was left behind in Vietnam.....Iraq.....and after WWII. That's a Pentagon decision. Why? Because war is for profit. No contractors want used equipment back....when they can simply use what was left behind to justify lobbying for a new, bugger military budget next year.....every year. No profits for the stockholders are made if used equipment comes home. But making new weapons and tanks and Humvees....that's where the money is. You don't get how this works, do you?
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
@anythingoes477 you're totally confused, in "other" wars they did that🤦‍♂️
Theres even film footage of it.
No matter how hard you try, you can't spin this clusterfuck.
@Virgo79 Why don't you show me some of that film footage. Wanna bet you can't remember where that link is anymore?
Grvstu · 70-79, F
You really are a crashing and uninformed bore, aren’t you? Do you only come on here because people can’t stand your company in the real world?@anythingoes477

Bungling Biden's just re-armed the Taliban with $85B dollars worth of new weapons. Fubar of inconceivable proportions. What will the Taliban's new strategy be?
Jeez, these guys just came out of their caves and Biden gifted them a quantum leap in military technology. They'll probably use it against our allies and trade with our enemies now. Is Taliban cyber warfare next? Massive Fubar, just massive!
Grvstu · 70-79, F
They are now better armed than most NATO countries. Well done Biden! @PatKirby
Coldplay · 56-60, M
I get sick to my stomach thinking about this
So according to you, we should have disarmed the Afghan army before we left?

Tell me, do you often get lost walking around a tree?
Grvstu · 70-79, F
When did you have your brain removed? Before or after birth?@LeopoldBloom
@Grvstu Do you type your own responses, or does your cat do it for you by walking across the keyboard.

OK, your move, Ex-Lax.
Grvstu · 70-79, F
At least my cat has a brain! @LeopoldBloom
Virgo79 · 61-69, M
At least they're coming home.

Its the people left there thats going to pay the price.
But to be honest when did democrats ever care about anyone but themselves
Heartlander · 80-89, M
Well done!

Thank you for your service. Under great risk, you served bravely and honorably.

Now it's time for the nations leadership to account for their behavior, which seems to be less than brave and honorable. The members of congress who sent you there, the presidents who lied about what was being accomplished, the general's who supported the lies.

No, please. We know that we can't count on congress to sort through the mess. We already know that they will turn any investigation into a partisan slugfest; and besides, their hands are likewise dirty. The accountability is to the American people who trusted them.
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
Not to mention the Americans now stranded there, in a few months we're going to hear about their treatment for sure.
Grvstu · 70-79, F
And British nationals @SatanBurger
PTCdresser57 · 61-69, M
The millions of dollars of equipment left is what we had given the 350000 Afghan trained army that gave up. I never read or heard anywhere about databases that are in Taliban hands. I keep wondering why ppl stayed there when as of Feb 2020 when Trump did a treaty with the Taliban all those ppl knew we were supposed to leave by May 1 2021. Then Pres. Biden got it extended it to August 31st and yet there was so many ppl still there.
Grvstu · 70-79, F
Rubbish!@PTCdresser57
BalmyNites · F
Yes, that was on U.K. news too - they’ve basically thrown them to the lions 😢
Keepitsimple · 51-55, F
Thank you to all our military, past and present. ❤️ 🇺🇸
bookerdana · M
Most of the equipment was US made but owned by the former Afghan government ,almost of the DOD stuff was removed...and a almost all the ordnance Afghan government owned had the sophisticated
technology removed
Grvstu · 70-79, F
That is rubbish. You are believed the liberal media boyo@bookerdana
bookerdana · M
@Grvstu I guess you believe the Conga line 4 star generals and washington insiders appearing on cable news and op ed pages

like James Keane..What neither Keane nor the host in either of these segments mentioned is that he has more than merely a patriotic interest in the continued occupation. Keane, a former board member at weapons maker General Dynamics, is chair of AM General, the company that makes Humvees. He also sits on the boards of Cyalume Technologies Inc., which manufactures military chemical lights and other technology deployed on the battlefield in Afghanistan, and the Institute for the Study of War, a think tank that publishes defense policy proposals with the aim of “developing the next generation of national security leaders” and is backed by CACI International Inc., General Dynamics, and other defense contractors.
Condaleeza Rice thinks 20 years isn't enough time, look at her connections..I'm shocKed people are so credulous..are you from Bakers Island
lovebcups · 61-69, M
