@samueltyler2 You could say that...but it is all done in the computer. :) It's like drawing, but instead you are taking a shape and molding it into what you want it to look like. And it's all in the computer, like for a video game or an advertisement.

@PoisonLace i understand it now. the key is to have the right program and the 3-D printer.

@samueltyler2 Well, I can use the program for 3D printing, but I don't have a 3D printer, and I didn't go to school to learn 3D printing. I would like to learn 3D printing, because I would like to be able to make things to 3D print... but the 3D models made in Autodesk Maya (the program used to create this stuff) are mainly used in video games, movies, advertisements, and other similar uses.

@NativePortlander1970 Yeah, and now they want to drain you for everything. I know. It's an industry thing where they are also trying to survive.
