A couple of bedraggled Magpies

It rained heavily for about an hour, after midday.
I was thinking of the poor birds having to sit in the nest with the rain drenching them.
When the rain eased a little, I went outside and there were two Magpies, under the verandah, hoping I would give them some food so they could warm up a little.

Australian Magpies really don't have the flair that ours have...


I guess you don't have time to look good, when you are in survival modus all the time. You never know when a Koala gets the jump on you.
