i've only ever seen single magpies

but just now, for the first time, i just saw two together. jan 2nd, 2 magpies. im going to take this as a positive sign and i'm going to manifest positive things for this year

one for sorrow, two for joy...

2's represent balance and seeing a series of 2's mean there are good things are on the way

i hope those birdies have long happy lives together ❤❤

@Frostcloud Utah, I thought. And it turns out that's well within magpie range, confused about/overloaded bird names.

@stound utah is right :) we're on like the cusp of their habitat, but they pop up even i. europe and asia which is super cool

@Frostcloud yeah, it seems like there are 3 (probably similar) species. American, Euro-Asian, and Australian. I've only knowingly seen the Australians
