i've only ever seen single magpies

but just now, for the first time, i just saw two together. jan 2nd, 2 magpies. im going to take this as a positive sign and i'm going to manifest positive things for this year

one for sorrow, two for joy...

2's represent balance and seeing a series of 2's mean there are good things are on the way
