@helenS I am in awe of a goose's ability to fly. As I pilot I watched a goose sideslip in to land on a small pond. Slide slipping is a bit tricky in an airplane but the goose just effortlessly drops one wing and loses altitude quickly without gaining speed.
@hippyjoe1955 They have the ultimate "feel" of the aircraft in flight. I learned on a twin engine turbo prop for 16 years , then when I finally get my pilots license and feel like I have that plane mastered...He sells it for a flying computer. It wont let you stick and rudder, it puts you in the optimal position at all times. I am lucky it lets me take off and land all though it can autoland . Crazy computerized air plane. All I had to do was master the avionics
No particular favorite. Crows are amazingly smart and communicative. Love how raptors hunt. Parrots and Macaws are beautiful. Chickens taste great especially fried. 😁
I love Cardinals. For a while, I had cardinal Christmas ornaments, cardinal stained glass, and plates with cardinals on them. No room for all that stuff where I live now. I did keep one tiny Hallmark cardinal Christmas tree ornament. AND I kept ONE barn owl figurine by Jim Shore.
For some reason I like watching and feeding the chickadees a lot, they are so friendly they will take seeds right out of your hand ( if you have a lot of patience to begin with.)
I have pictures of birds on my feeder but not here.
