Sometimes we get inexplicable warnings or messages, imho. We may characterize them as spiritual and paranormal or as our subconscious at work, depending upon our views. The first house we bought had been vacant for two years and to keep kids from vandalizing it the rumor had been circulated that the place was haunted, since the previous owner had died in it and the body not discovered for several days. For the first few weeks after we moved in I would awake in the middle of the night to see a woman and a little girl standing at the foot of the bed looking at us. Then they disappeared and never reappeared. As if the widow and daughter of the previous owner was checking to see if we were suitable caretakers for their home that the widower had neglected before his death. Or was it my subconscious scrubbing the idea of the place being haunted from my mind?
