Do you believe that ghosts are real?

I always ask this but no one gives me a straight answer. Define clearly what is a ghost. Also what is the evidence? Not by say so anecdotes or questionable photos but real physical evidence.

What are they made of? Matter like you and I? Do they emit or reflect light? Leave any residue that can be tested?

Just because people have strange experiences, that doesn’t mean simpler and more likely alternatives can be omitted.

Horses and zebras. When the simplest option is available, it's likely the correct choice.

There are things in this Universe we don't have the capacity to conceive and anything is possible. That said, we live in a culture that states implicitly:
There is an afterlife
Ghost are the spirits of those who have passed
Ghosts are people who don't know they're dead/have unresolved issues/are guardian angels
Ghosts are best seen at night, in the dark, with special film
Ghosts appear during sleep, in and around sleep
Ghosts appear to individuals, never to large groups of witnesses
We know ghosts only through the "legends' told of them, never by their SS or last, first, middle init.

That's a lot to assume. Show me untouched footage of a daytime encounter with verifiable photos, story details, etc., and we can talk. Until then, all we do is observe and learn from the Universe. When you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras.

I watch 10s of ghost videos a week. There is no way they're all fake.

ever since i started watching videos of interviews with people who died and were resuscitated, ( near death experiences ) , i have decided that a lot of our perceptions of souls that are with us and near us, are blocked by our inhibitions. in other words, people are conditioned from an early age to ignore sensations and it makes us unable to communicate with those souls. but, some people are gifted or are given the gift temporarily to see beyond the veil. i can't offer any falsifiable and repeatable proof, which is what i myself crave, but i hope that everyone finds what they are looking for. best wishes. cheers.

I'm not sure about the existence of ghosts, but I do believe in demonic oppression. I've had a few "paranormal" type experiences. Some were in my own house, and more recently, since the passing of my dad, some were over at my parents' house.

We live in 3D world and theories are that upto 10Ds are possible according to string theory which we can't witness with our naked eyes given the limited brain function of us.So we can't conclude that ghosts aren't real neither can we be sure about the non-existence of ghosts.

What is a ghost?

I have a theory that ghosts as we know them to be are nothing more than spiritual recordings taken at the moments of their death. Think about it, we are spiritual beings that are also electrical as well, the earth is surrounded by a magnetic field, not unlike the recording heads on analog devices, those who die violently disrupts the magnetic fields surrounding us, and they get "recorded". However, other spiritual beings exist as well, both benevolent and malevolent, Professor Carl Sagan once said that in our vast Universe, to believe we are the only ones is quite ignorant (paraphrasing).
