@LordShadowfire What do you think? Everybody does things for a reason unless that person is crazy. It would be like a carpenter swinging his hammer and banging everything without expectation of a result.

@sree251 So, OP wasn't doing those things out of the goodness of your heart, but in the hopes that someone would reward you. Good deeds done selfishly aren't good.

@LordShadowfire Meh.. I don’t believe in true altruism either, but there’s a tremendous difference between someone being aware of self and effects on self when you attempt to do a positive thing vs. selfishness, which is a destructive disregard for others
