A conundrum! Can God in fact know in advance the choice of a truly, totally, radically free created being. Its something like asking if God knows what he is going to do before he does it.
The whole question suggests that we (human beings) are not "radically free" and therefore that it would be unfair to allow our choices to determine our final eternal destiny.
But I'm no philosopher and I'm not strong on logic.
On another level, as persons we can only be in relationship with other persons. Therefore it seems to me that God could not simply not create just those who will choose to reject him.
Of course, Universalism solves most conundrums like this.

@Vin53 Hi Val, its not exactly that I see any ambiguity, it is more that various thinkers and philosophers (including Christians) often see such ambiguities that are beyond my own grasp of logic.
Some see ambiguity in the creation of evil. Thus calling into question the arising of "sin" (the Fall) They see this as the creation of evil ex nihilo (from nothing) and thus impossible - given that God is wholly good.
But, anyway, enough.

@Punches Much like the dyslexic guy who stayed up all night wondering if there was a dog.

“Omnipotence” means “all powerful”
@AbbySvenz
😊 Omniscience is having that power, the power to know all things past, present and future

Yeah, and it is not “omnipotence”@Onestarlitnight

Well the short answer is we can get away from all these crazy conundrums , illogic, and duplicity if we accept that the Abrahamic god doesn't exist. It would sure save a lot of time debating about things akin to "why are leperchaun's britches brown"

If you want 50 units of production but you know that you will have to produce 100 units because the loss rate is 50% you must produce units that you will know will fail.. The producer values obtaining the 50 and is prepared to lose 50 to obtain the 50..

In order for Jesus to wipe away our sins and open the gates of heaven, He had to be crucified (sacrificed) to His Father. The instrument of that sacrifice was Judas, who had to betray Jesus in order for Him to be put to death and mankind to be saved. God must have known that Judas would do this (indeed, He must have created Judas, specifically for this purpose) and yet Judas represents everything that is selfish and treacherous about human nature in our culture and beliefs. Judas saved mankind with his act of betrayal.
Poor Judas, the ultimate patsy.

Why does God make people he know/s he's sending to hell?
If you were God, why would you have to create all people with the same attributes? IOWs, why would everyone have to be "real" or have "souls"? The intent could be to test the people who are real and have souls to see if, and how, they respond to "bad" things and if they will do anything to make things better. So, if you are "real" and have a "soul" and you see starving and homeless people, do you do anything to alleviate their suffering? If you see sick people do you do anything to cure them of their illnesses?
BTW, in the biblical version, hell is temporary and everyone makes bail on Judgment Day. Some could even end up in the golden cube while others will be tossed into the lake of fire but no one will spend eternity in hell.

@jshm2 I do not agree that any human being is simply "natural wastage". Or that anyone at all does not truly mattet.
Your God is not my God.

He doesn't. If human character could not be improved there wouldn't be so many morality discussions or interventions in your mental sickness.

As many of the Christians purport their gawd to be Omniscient and Omnipotent you do have to wonder as to why it/he/she/they allowed such evil beings as Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Amin and so many others to even be born and for disease to exist???
