The End Of The World, Part II

The end of the world is coming. Why worry yourself over that? God has said the world will be destroyed, are you going to fix that so it doesn't happen? No.
God is not wiping out mankind
Mankind is wiping out mankind

@AkioTsukino It is the end of This world.. The Way this world runs.. The way Humans currently deal with each other.. The atual planet will be renewed and so shall the remnant of humans who will inherit the earth..
@LordShadowfire If you're waiting for that it doesn't really matter to you if he's "real" or not.

If God is and has always been infinite?
Then why do you think that you will end?

Religion is just a lie to make you feel like a good person and unafraid and special to someone.

When you are not.

Dress like me.
Walk with me.
Talk like me.
Eat what I eat.
Stand when I stand.
Sit when I sit.
Stay where I stay.
Say what I say.

And we will receive an award for being different.
Just like everyone else.

In Jesus name.
So that we don’t get the blame.

Yeah.
It has only been over two thousand years.

In that all of that time?
How many people have come to the end of time?

I’m still here.
You are still here.
This rock is still here.

So when does eternity start?

When does time end?

What about the rest of the Universe?

Does it have to become a “God’s special friend”?
@PoeticPlay Poetic [sigh] Poetry is a prison of words that robs of life.

Anyway . . .
If God is and has always been infinite?

Everybody's doin' it?
Uh . . . I'm not God?
Religion is just a lie to make you feel like a good person and unafraid and special to someone.
The religious ride the special bus? I can only speak for myself, but I don't want to be special. Never have. Religion is a set of principles strictly adhered to (at least in pretense) and ritualistic repetition. Everyone is religious. No organized religion has ever remained true, even to itself. Just follow the money (power).
When you are not.
Thank you.

Okay. Uh . . . conformity of non-conformity isn't exclusive to organized religion.
In Jesus name.

That's good, I like that. Scapegoat.
Yeah.

What has? Jesus said the world was founded on the blood of Abel, so the world and the end times, began, according to the Bible, at the conception of Cain. The world (Greek kosmos; English; cosmos, cosmetics) was founded (Greek katebole; throwing down of seed) then. So, it's been more than two thousand years.
In that all of that time?
How many people have come to the end of time?
None. There is no end of time. There's ends of ages, end of times, ends of generations, end of the world (many times in the Bible).
I’m still here.
You are still here.
This rock is still here.
And time will go on after all of those are gone.
So when does eternity start?
That depends on what you mean by eternity. If you mean infinite or unending time it began at the creation of the universe. If you mean a state to which time has no application; timelessness, it's a bit too philosophical or poetic for me. Never? Before time? God is eternal as he existed before time and is without end. If you mean endless life after death that begins at the resurrection, after the destruction of the world, sin, pain, suffering, etc.

The end of humans in this world seems probable and believable. When and how we dwindle away is anyone's guess, but I just do not think earth and humanity are a combination that works. A scenario like a lethal pathogen like in The Stand by Stephen King could emerge anytime.
@JamieYahoo Such a pathogen will only emerge, or rather be fabricated, manipulated, exaggerated, if it's profitable. I haven't read much of Stephen King so I don't know how the Stand goes down. It isn't the existence of humanity itself that must be completely destroyed, it's only their control that must do so.

Uh . . . the meek will inherit the earth and live forever upon it.

Yeah, God loves a mass extinction or two. It gets Him off...
@Richard65 It's almost . . . as if you believe we didn't create him . . . as if something about your description makes some illogical separation. Is that difficult for you?
Richard65 · M
@AkioTsukino nah, just making conversation whilst taking a dump. It's all bullshit, which is pretty appropriate considering where I am.
@Richard65 Don't forget to flush.

If we manage to make the majority of people aware, we will achieve a better and more humane world. There is a lot of love and awareness in us. But if we manage to create awareness to care for the environment, it would be a good step.

Si nosotros logramos que la mayoría de personas se haga consiente podríamos lograr un mundo mejor y más humano . Falta muchísimo amor y conciencia en nosotros . Pero si logramos crear consciencia para cuidar el medioambiente sería un buen paso
Pais1601 · 26-30, M
@AkioTsukino the day that there is enough awareness to take care of the planet together it could be achieved, there is a lack of awareness and love. Difficult but not impossible :) What would help you?

el día que haya la suficiente consiencia para cuidar el planeta entre todos se podría lograr , Falta consiencia y amor . Difícil pero no imposible :) ¿ para vos qué ayudaría?
@Pais1601 I found the most helpful thing to me was to not believe any alarmist nonsense in the name of science. Awareness isn't the answer, even if it's a legitimate question.

I can't see the reasoning as everyone here has to die once in this life time.

The key question we must ask yourselves.. is based on how I chose to live this earthly life ...

When the time is at hand..where will I be going after?

Did you excersise ' good conscience ' when ever the opportunities had crossed your path?

Hmmm hopefully that lesson was well learned.

Where is the end of the world Part I ?
@Adstar The global deluge of Noah's day.

See, actually, in the Bible there have been many end of the "worlds." So this one isn't just the second, or third, or whatever. I just called it II to see if anyone would say anything.
Adstar · 56-60, M
@AkioTsukino Oh i get it.. I was thinking your post was a part of a series and you had already posted part 1.. I did not want to miss it.. Yes the flood was the end of that world.. although it was not the end of this planet,, just the world as it once was..

This coming one is the second end.. And yeah you got a few reactions.. Well done..

Which God is this? Sounds like a bit of a downer.
@Thevy29
Which God is this?
The one true God, Jehovah.
Sounds like a bit of a downer.
No. Not at all. If you had a big, broken down eyesore in your neighborhood where all the crack whores and murders hid out would you think it a downer if the demolition crew were on it's way? Remember, the world scheduled for destruction is not the planet Earth.
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
@AkioTsukino I have no problem with all you Jehovah-bible thumpers digging a nice big cubby hole to wait out your so called end of the world. Since it is Sunday now. I'm not getting into a debate on religion.
What is it with you God botherers? You just salivate at the idea that the world is ending.
