@robingoodfellow God has said that mankind will survive and it appears that mankind is, as you conclude, causing all of the problems. So, the end of the world isn't the end of the planet or mankind. Just the destructive.

@AkioTsukino It is the end of This world.. The Way this world runs.. The way Humans currently deal with each other.. The atual planet will be renewed and so shall the remnant of humans who will inherit the earth..
