My male hairdresser told me he does massage therapy and invited me to his place for a session. Is that weird?

I had noticed there were no other customers in the salon when he said this and his boss wasn't around either. Am I overthinking it?

If you were not in a conversation about muscle pain or about stress, then I would have my suspicions.

Is his massage service licensed? You can check what kind of online presence it has. Any reviews? Any evidence that this business actually exists?

Was he talking about you paying him for a massage, or was he offering a freebie? Actually I'd be more worried if he was offering to give away his services. I suppose it's possible that he simply figured that his boss wouldn't appreciate the beauty parlor being used to promote another business. Does he have a license in massage therapy? Does he advertise anywhere? You are good to think twice, or more, about this.
If you go, take a friend. Take two friends. And a Taser.
