Talk with the people in scheduling, billing, customer service when you are on a phone call--they'll agree that [i]not[/i] being physically face-to-face means that people typically say all manner of harsh things which they never would, otherwise.

I find that often young people judge older people against their own ideals because they haven't had a chance to make mistakes or face something that they find challenging.
People get judged for a multitude of reasons, young being one of them… and none of them are right. Just be you.
