Come as you are. The packaging is not as important as what lies inside. As long as she's comfortable, that's all that matters to me

@TinyViolins @TinyViolins I agree, appearance is secondary to the person inside.

@Coralmist In your case, there's a pretty amazing person inside ☺️

@TinyViolins That is kind of you, ty TinyV🍂

@Coralmist I really mean it too. You're so kind and warm despite all the troubles you've had to face. I never stop being amazed by your ability to persevere through kindness

@TinyViolins many have treated me less than when I was kind, but I do enjoy when people smile and when they feel joy too. Ty again🏵️

@Coralmist Lots of people don't know how to appreciate what they have. The best thing you can do for yourself is to find those that do appreciate you as you are.
You've got nothing to prove to anybody. As long as you feel like you're trying to make a difference, you're already doing more than most people would.

@TinyViolins Thats the thing, in the past couple years I dont feel Ive tried or am making a difference. When you give and always predicting what another wants, you feel you are on empty. (After years) . But I guess working on self care and just that, will help restore, and then I can give again.

@Coralmist That's the old Bukowski quote: "Drink from the well of yourself and begin again". It's important to understand what we stand for, what we value, so that we can continue our path and renew our focus on that which matters to us.
No matter what anyone says M, you're an amazing person that emanates so much warmth and kindness into this world that one would have to be a fool not to notice.
I've had to deal with social anxiety too, so I know how hard it can be to accept hearing positive things about yourself, but I hope you can believe me when I say that you are worth it.
Your kindness blows me away any time I log on here and that's no small feat. I truly hope you can learn to internalize how much of beautiful soul you are, because others will definitely need that warmth on their own journeys

@TinyViolins I appreciate that, thank you. Many though are kind and giving, and I wonder in terms of love, will kindness be enough? I have to decline many social things and I feel it will be a burden to someone. So then I dont feel worth and decline dates. Fun stuff. But i do ty for those words 🌿

@Coralmist Kindness is a good starting point, but relationships seem to involve a great deal of work. I think as long as you're committed to putting in the work, like going to social things and troubleshooting problems, the love you have to offer will truly blossom.
It's like planting a seed, I guess. It's a good first step, but you also gotta get your hands a little dirty to make sure it can grow into what it's supposed to grow into
