[c=359E00]handed? Are they different as well? [/c]

Handedness is not a genetic trait. I've an identical twin sister. We share genes. Shes left handed....I'm right. 🤷‍♀️

Different how?

When I was a kid, they used to tie my left hand behind my back, at school. It did not work.
@Northwest Didn’t work for me, either. Except I became functionally ambidextrous.

@bijouxbroussard Yes, by necessity, though I still can't write in cursive to this day.

I’m left-handed. But it’s not something anyone notices unless they’re looking closely. In the past it was a bigger deal. A boy and I were the only two left-handed children in class. The nuns who were our teachers tied our left hands to our chairs so we’d have to use our right ones.
@TheotherAndy Our teachers would’ve liked you, at least you were trying to be "normal".
That’s really how they saw it back then.

When I dislocated my right shoulder and couldn't use the arm, I switched over to my left arm no problem. I was amazed how quickly and easily I was able to adapt to doing everyday tasks. Penmanship was the only real challenge.

My sister is except she was originally right handed before she broke her arm and taught herself how to write with her left instead.
Weirdly, her kids were born left handed.

I'm both handed but left by nature. I was basically forced to write with my right. Now I prefer using my right because everything is so much easier
