I'm sorry to hear that. It's understandable to feel that way, but remember that people's emotions and reactions can change depending on various factors. Maybe you can try doing something fun or special with your family to create new moments of excitement and joy. It's never too late to make new memories and strengthen your relationships with loved ones

Aw. Its just a new chapter. They have their own lives now instead of their world revolving around you and lunchables.

Times do change…. Wish we could bottle that stage.

@Ambroseguy80 I know ☹️
Ambroseguy80 · 56-60, M
@Nebula I’m guessing it’s probably even harder on moms - being the typical primary caregivers

@Ambroseguy80 yeah ☹️

Ah you'll be alright bro. You don't need a partner for validation.

@ghostridersinthesky I just don't know why you think I want an opinion about my face.
ghostridersinthesky · 51-55, M
@Nebula maybe it's because I'm an egotistic overconfident alpha idiot who knows.

Nice meeting you anyway

I get this and am frequently reminiscent. My eldest has been at Uni since last Sept and when he comes home some of those dynamics have returned. I'm thinking about getting a dog too. Hold on to those memories although they still love you.

Get a dog, he/she will lose their mind when you get home. ☺️

@SW-User I'm thinking about it

I know that feeling. It would be fun to be able to go back...not to necessarily change anything, but just to relive it.
I am happy to see you though!

That’s what I enjoy! No one bothering me! The older I get, the less I like being around people at all.

My grandkids ( both boys and girls) always give me hugs. My sons never did that.

I remember and miss the days when there were kids at home!!

tell me about it, remember that when you are my age!

Yeah it sucks and I'm not talking about the noises ones knees make getting up and down. But you are young and if you're a mother your kids would be in their 20s . Their brains haven't fully grown/married. Think about those you believe are not excited and now think about how you react when you were younger . You were always excited but probably seemed used to it. Or maybe I'm full of shit. I'll be 70 in little over a month. Your are most likely closer to being born than dying of old age. I'm still pissed I'm old. I'm so much closer to the end than the beginning that makes regret not dying young a hero instead getting measured for a coffin I'm going to need. I'll probably be cremated but asked my family to lie and act like I'll be buried. Fire, depending and car wreck are my the worst fears about dying ask the other ways are just scary but those 3 please Lord not that way I need time to repent probably until lunchtime on my 111th birthday. If I hurry. I am full of it

Hopefully when they are they will appreciate you more. I'm sorry you are going through this.
