Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
I do want to some like this that heel looks so sturdy and hard wearing honestlly.
Just maybe a little more sole under the balls of the feet!

@Mellowgirl Just an early boot

It wasn't till about then that shoes were made left and right... Before that they were all just straight....

@Convivial oh interesting

How neat, and clear. My English ancestors established a well known woolen mill in Massachusettes. Pieces of the period.

@espoir I'm not sure if this was a dart or an observation....regardless, I'm part and parcel to a style from the period, be it a cut of cloth or, a pair of shoes.
I've no interest in stepping on your historical proclivities as much as I'm interested by extention promoting early 20th century by style.....from clothes to cars.
I love the period of style....I've no idea what you're into. Anyways.

@Freeranger I'm sort of interesting vaguagly in a few period of History . But generally I am interested in controversial subjects

I bet they were costly, in their day.

Still, at least those heels won't compete with the woodworm for perforating the floorboards!

wow...have you ever seen the beaded pumps? victorian times. very elegant
AlchemyFox · 36-40, F
You could kick some serious butt in those

Those boots were made for walking…
I like the sturdy, sculpted heel and its moderate height.
