@espoir I'm not sure if this was a dart or an observation....regardless, I'm part and parcel to a style from the period, be it a cut of cloth or, a pair of shoes.
I've no interest in stepping on your historical proclivities as much as I'm interested by extention promoting early 20th century by style.....from clothes to cars.
