I'd date older men but kind of worry.

While generalizations exist for a reason, the important thing to remember is that each person is an individual. If you shut down everybody based on things beyond their control, you're going to end up missing out on a some quality people.

Just as you have your unique experiences, thoughts, and personality traits, so does everyone else. We have a habit of making negative associations in order to protect ourselves, but it's important not to make ourselves so guarded that no one is able to get in.

The most valuable part of a dinner date at a sit down restaurant is to see how the other person treats wait staff. And avoid the super fancy, pricey ones. Just a run of the mill sit down dining establishment.

If they treat the waiters or waitresses poorly, there is your sign to end it fast.
