What did your parents (or the people who raised you) believe?
Did you go to a religious school? If so, what belief and values did it teach?
Did you graduate from uni? If so, what did you study?
Have your beliefs changed over time?
If so, what caused the changes?
What is it that makes you so passionate about challenging the beliefs of others?

If it turned out there is a god, would you bother worshiping him? Or would it be kinda pointless since he's obviously either evil, insane, or unable to affect our lives?

I'm sure i'd bend the knee but i don't think i'd be loving that god. Not if he is as described in the Bible.

@Pikachu That's why I think worshiping a god would be pointless. Even if he wasn't Yahweh, we're still talking about a god that allowed atrocities to happen every day.
Now if it was Arceus, that's a different story.

What if you are wrong, and every day of your life, you are making Farblesnozz angrier and angrier with your disbelief? He will sentence you to an eternity in the dirt mines of Snazzlekhil for your disobedience! Dare you take that chance?

Me too.

Why does the placebo effect actually work for some while it doesn鈥檛 work for others?
@Heavenlywarrior
Interestingly, the placebo effect doesn't really work at all, not when there is an objective outcome.
The host of effects collectively known as placebo tend rather to exist only in reported outcomes and various biases.

@Pikachu do you agree then that it鈥檚 the brain power that causes the success in those experiments or trials then?
When did you get all lame and political Pikachu? I wouldn't choose you now 馃槅
Straylight 路 31-35, F
Why do you think pseudoscience has been so popular?
@Straylight
Because it tends to offer unequivocal, confident answers about what's wrong with you and how it can be cured. Or because it's easier and cheaper and faster than following the real scientific method.

Cashews, almonds or pistachios?
@BlueGreenGrey
Hmmm asking the real questions.
Cashews for a treat nut, almonds for mass consumption and pistachios are just too much trouble.
