I told my kids about Pluto getting kicked out and they all felt bad for it. Lol
SatanBurger · 36-40, FVIP
Pluto is always going to be a planet, I don't care. Nazis smh
Zaphod42 · 51-55, M
I grew up in a world with 4 oceans, 7 continents, 8 neighboring planets and cars that couldn’t drive themselves. Things have changed 😕
i had to do a double take to make sure that wasnt me. LOL

@mooncrest02 Some have not accepted the "dwarf planet" classification:

Keep it up and Saturn's gonna be next on the chopping block!

Also i was always taught there are only five continents! Apparently there's seven of them now!
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Entwistle Technically speaking, Europe and Asia are one land mass. They're only called two different continents because of the sheer size. I think that's cheating, personally.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@Entwistle I saw an interesting video about that; seems it all depends on where you go to school as to how many you think there are. Some consider North and South America to be one continent, for example. Other places EurAsia is taught as a single continent.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@Entwistle I say let's re-write it all: Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, Antarctica, North America, South America, Greenland, India, and Arabia. And then one more when Africa's Great Rift Valley finally splits that continent in two. So, ten continents until the split, then eleven!
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
On the bright side, we can now claim we have 13 planets:
4 "Terrestrial" planets
4 "Outer" planets
5 "Dwarf" planets
4 "Terrestrial" planets
4 "Outer" planets
5 "Dwarf" planets

Blame the Plutonian government. They've been ignoring the science that shows that mining plutonium was causing the planet to shrink.
@LordShadowfire HA! you called it a planet! Check mate!
