Are you tired of it yet?

I would be if it weren't for all the Rapture and End Times stuff. I find that fascinating. After a while you'd think people might catch on that the world isn't going to end but nope. They just keep running with it.

@Fallenfromgrace That will be the first solar eclipse in the history of the world. It's a big thing and signals that the world will end in a few days.

Slow news week.... Or month

In itself it does not bother me, I mean I enjoyed the last one, when my area was in the path of totality

What gets old though if the perennial attempts by those who closely resemble QAnon types to try to find deeper apocalyptic meaning in the latest eclipse du jour, even trying to link it up with recent earthquakes for bonus points ... in other words, it is tiresome that our species has not yet and apparently never will evolve beyond such ridiculous stupidity and conspiratorial mindsets ... that will definitely be the doom of our species, not any eclipse

The only other annoying aspect is the equally stupid idea of booking airliner flights for the sole purpose of staying aloft in the path of totality, not to get anywhere ... airlines already pollute enough for actual transport flights as it is
