Some people say the Sun and the Moon are quite far away from us but this is not true. Science is divided about the distance

but most believe the moon and the Sun are the same size as each other (this explains lunar and solar eclipses) and that both are around 500 miles away.

These same scientists (mostly from the discipline of creation science) have proven that neither the Sun and the moon are very large, in fact only slightly larger than the other stars in the sky.

So there you have it, what are your thoughts on the matter?

I have often wondered about that. I suspect the heavens are contained in a glass globe on God's desk and the sun and moon and stars are merely scratches on it.
