It pissed me off a little

When someone asks for a birth chart reading and then leaves and doesn’t listen to it. A free birth chart reading! I asked if a user wanted a birth chart reading and she said yes and she gave me everything I needed to do an accurate reading and then she left the pm. I looked and her account seems to be deleted. Pff.

What’s needed to make an ‘accurate' reading? Just say-so birth data or do you demand seeing a birth certificate?

How can astrology be taken seriously? A amateur reading is going to be on par to a paid professional?

Nobody shows it works and how it works. The religious like belief is the requirement. Go to ten different astrologers and ten different readings are the results.

@Greyjedi Science is a method, not a position. Which requires physical evidence. Detectable, measurable, and passes repeated testing. Can astrologers design tests that they actually pass? Fame and fortune along with a cinch Nobel. It would be more historic than the moon landings.

@BlueSkyKing Astrology is also a method. I only have one University degree, you need at least two to qualify to create any publishable experiment.

1. Never give a sucker an even break.
2. Get the money upfront.
3. Make sure they come back for more.

I was thinking about this & In past years I have experienced folks doing this sort of thing when they called me. I think they might just be afraid of what they are going to hear. My take on it anyway.

@LynnLIcata I asked her if she wanted me to omit anything that might be to hard to hear. Could also be she was planning to leave the app and I took too long working with her chart.

@LordShadowfire wondering the same thing? The astrological websites are mostly bull - astrologers certainly don't use them.
