15th-century Mamluk playing cards
(from the famous deck preserved in the Topkapı Palace in Istanbul).

I'm Collecting my 5 points, 'cause that’s history right there:

Origin: Egypt/Mamluk Sultanate, dating back to around the 1400s.

Significance: This deck is widely recognized as the direct ancestor of European playing cards (like Tarot and standard suits).

The Suits Shown:
Cups (seen on the top row)
Coins/Disks
Swords/Scimitars (curved blades on the bottom row)
Polo-sticks (the crossed mallets)

Instead of human figures (which weren't typically depicted due to religious custom), the court cards and pips were designed with intricate geometric patterns, floral arabesques, and Arabic calligraphy.
@LILPapi69 yes!!! 5 points for you!

LILPapi69 · 46-50, M
@InterdimensionalSideEye yes. I wrote that song when I was thinking back two when I was watching supernatural , the TV show & The NetFlix Tv Show: Devil In Ohio. So I then commended the two thoughts and came up with that song.

@Ann99 thanks for commenting, I very much liked the art on the cards but the words make them more significant.

Maybe this:

Oh wait, there is Arabic.

LILPapi69 · 46-50, M
@JoyfulSilence Both of dem pictures are straight outta the classic 1975 comedy flick Monty Python and the Holy Grail:
Top Picture: That’s the glowing Holy Grail appearin' in the golden clouds when God commands King Arthur and his crew to go find it.
Bottom Picture: That’s King Arthur (Graham Chapman) and his Knights of the Round Table lookin' straight up at the sky in total awe durin' that exact same scene.

MrSmartyPants · 46-50, M
@InterdimensionalSideEye It would be nice to know after a period of time, don't need 5 points, but am interested. There's like a holy grail and serpent in the garden visual motifs.
@MrSmartyPants look above at best answer.
