@Blanchy I was in Colombia SA when I was 19. I saw this man walking along the beach with an animal in his arms. I knew it was a 3-toed sloth because I had done a project on them in 6th grade. I ran over to him and he confirmed it was a 3-toed sloth. He asked me if I wanted to hold it. Of course I said yes. I was so excited. It was a mother and her small baby. He asked me if I wouldn’t mind watching the sloths for a short while because he had to go and do something, but he didn’t end up coming back until seven or so hours later. Like from morning until dinner time. My sister kept going back to our hotel to get fruit and vegetables and water for them. They were just so amazing to hold and take care of and that really was the best experience I’ve ever had.

@Blanchy I did take your girl with a golden earring to a teacher and the picture is now hanging on the wall in the class of 1st. graders as example of what can be done with dedication. I hear that some kids would want to have some pictures painted by you as well. Thank you for being an example to others.
