What is everyone's favourite Pokémon and why? 🤔
Mine is Mudkip because it was the first Pokémon I ever used, I love it's evolution line, it's typing, it's extremely cute and it was my first Pokémon plush. I have a lot of fond memories of it

Regigigas.
Because he looks so cool to me, is hard to acquire, and his stats are outstanding.
The only downside is his ability; slow start. But that actually makes me like him more!
He reminds me of myself; takes a while to work up momentum but ones he gets rolling he is damn near unstoppable 💪🏽💪🏽.
Besides, using dizzy punch to confuse your opponent and letting Regigigas hold leftovers can get him past his hump in single battles.
And in double battles if you have a pokemon who knows worry seed you can have them use it on Regigigas to change his ability from slow start to insomnia, thus completely bypassing his one flaw.

@JestAJester Oh well in that case you should like Scarlet and Violet. It's fully open world, you can go anywhere you want at any time and battle the gym leaders or do the other stories in any order you want. I don't remember if you need a certain amount of badges for a high level Pokémon you caught to listeh to you or if you're able to catch them, I don't remember. Scarlet and Violet is a way more exploring than any other Pokémon game.
My favourite game is still Omega Ruby though, it was my first Pokémon game, I have many memories of it, I still play it, I love the Hoenn region, I really like the Gen 3 Pokémon, the Hoenn starters are my absolute favourite Starter trio, I really like the unique game mechanics for Hoenn/ORAS like Dive and flying above Hoenn on Latios/Latias. Team Magma and Team Aqua are my favourite evil teams, Omega Ruby has my favourite video game soundtrack ever, I love that Mega Evolution is in the game, the Delta Episode is the best Post game in any Pokémon game, ORAS is just incredible. @JJones I started with pokemon yellow and blue when i was like 12. Id killed for a new generation game using pokemon red sprites. Has a sort of tim burton feel to thr art style. Theres a rom hack that goes up to gen 4 and gives the new pokemon gen 1 sprites i think. I got sapphire, not omega, when i was a teen and absolutely loved it!! I was sad when i discovered shedinja, awesome pokemon but too many weaknesses even with that awesome ability. I might try the new ones, i heard of bad reviews and was worried it was just another reprint of the same game.

Leafeon, I have a lot of good memories with that pokemon. I always chose the fire type and needed a decent lead type.
