What is everyone's favourite Pokémon and why? 🤔

@JestAJester Onix is such a cool Pokémon. Steelix definitely makes up for the stats

@JJones definitely does but i still think it needs to be a pseudo legendary. Onix is hard to find, it requires a steel coat and trade to get steelix and its a giant snake made of steel for crying out loud

@JestAJester Well Pseudo Legendaries are always a 3 stage evolution line, has a base stat total of 600 and is in the slowest experience group

@JestAJester What I think should be a Pseudo Legendary is Haxorus. It's a strong 3 stage Dragon type. Not sure if it's in the slowest experience group, but I think it should have been made a Pseudo for Unova

@JJones many pokemon they just dont do justice for. Im still waiting on a dunsparce evolution. I hate that dragons are weak to fairies. The number of inanimate objects posing as pokemon is getting ridiculous. Charizard is still not a dragon type but a bird and a bat is. And neither is Gyrados. And hopefully theyll break the fire, water, grass starter cycle. But probably never will so ill stick with playing rom hacks

@JestAJester Um you're pretty out of the loop. Dunsparce has gotten an evolution, the fairy type was specifically created because the dragon type was too overpowered, object Pokémon can be really creative (like Rotom for example), also Mega Charizard X is a dragon type, Gyarados doesn't need to be a dragon type because that's the whole point of Dragonite, it's the only dragon type in Kanto which makes it so cool and unique. Also the grass, fire and water Starters are always really fun, I love that because most of the time they get a second type

@JJones yah i am out of the loop, did not know about dunsparce. Dragons should be overpowered, theyre dragos for crying out loud. Creatures of myth and legend. I dont mind the inanimate objects but an ice cream cone? A pile of trash? Really now? Im just bored of the starters. I wanna choose my own starter. I dont even use them anymore, i dump them in the pc first chance i get.

@JestAJester Sorry but are you really still bothered by those gen 5 Pokémon? That was over a decade ago, also they make sense for Unova because it's based off of New York, of course there would be a trash Pokémon and an ice cream one, it makes sense for the region

@JestAJester Oh well in that case you should like Scarlet and Violet. It's fully open world, you can go anywhere you want at any time and battle the gym leaders or do the other stories in any order you want. I don't remember if you need a certain amount of badges for a high level Pokémon you caught to listeh to you or if you're able to catch them, I don't remember. Scarlet and Violet is a way more exploring than any other Pokémon game.

My favourite game is still Omega Ruby though, it was my first Pokémon game, I have many memories of it, I still play it, I love the Hoenn region, I really like the Gen 3 Pokémon, the Hoenn starters are my absolute favourite Starter trio, I really like the unique game mechanics for Hoenn/ORAS like Dive and flying above Hoenn on Latios/Latias. Team Magma and Team Aqua are my favourite evil teams, Omega Ruby has my favourite video game soundtrack ever, I love that Mega Evolution is in the game, the Delta Episode is the best Post game in any Pokémon game, ORAS is just incredible. What's your favourite Pokémon game?

@JJones I started with pokemon yellow and blue when i was like 12. Id killed for a new generation game using pokemon red sprites. Has a sort of tim burton feel to thr art style. Theres a rom hack that goes up to gen 4 and gives the new pokemon gen 1 sprites i think. I got sapphire, not omega, when i was a teen and absolutely loved it!! I was sad when i discovered shedinja, awesome pokemon but too many weaknesses even with that awesome ability. I might try the new ones, i heard of bad reviews and was worried it was just another reprint of the same game.
