One good thing about zoo's that people dont seem to mention, is the security from natural predators
conversely, predatory animals cant feed on lesser wildlife.

Quality of life over quantity of days.
This is one of the reasons I value my freedom over spoiled sheltered life, even if it may likely end with an extremist stabbing me, or sniping me out during emergency related work.
But unlike animals we can make those conscious choices to a large degree. They cannot. And I am not sure we should be making them for them.
