I find them occasionally. I get them to crawl on a tissue, then open my front door, and flick the tissue to get the bug to fall or fly off. If it holds on, I then just fling the whole thing (tissue and clinging bug). Of course later I need to pick up the tissue! No littering!

Soap and water spray kills them. They breathe through their bodies. Fill up a spray bottle a little under half way with dawn dish detergent, fill the bottle up with water to the top. Reattach spray head and put the spray on stream and shoot those nasty things.
The soap clogs up their breathing mechanisms suffocating them basically. Works wonders on them outside.
